Position: Sheet Metal Fabricator I
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
-
2nd Shift: 2:15 PM – 10:15 PM (Monday–Friday)
-
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Sunday–Thursday)
About the Role

In this hands-on role, you’ll work with a variety of machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools to heat, bend, form, press, cut, and refine sheet metal according to customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Review operations on traveler sheets to ensure proper material, thickness, and process.

Plan the sequence of operations for efficient production.

Set up and adjust machinery, dies, and equipment controls as needed.

Operate machinery safely and accurately.

Make adjustments to maintain consistent part quality.

Refine parts for cosmetic or customer-specific requirements.

Use precision measuring tools and inspection equipment for quality assurance.

Follow customer specifications and internal standards closely.

Work overtime when needed to meet production demands.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds (assistance available if needed).

Work in a 100% manufacturing environment near moving mechanical parts.

Exposure to wet/humid conditions, airborne particles, and loud noise.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) required as per safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

6–12 months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Basic math skills (decimals, percentages, fractions); geometry and trigonometry a plus.

Comfortable using computers and learning new software, screens, reports, and ERP systems.
