Position: Quality Inspector 1
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday)
Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (inclusive of a 5% shift differential)
Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector 1 is responsible for performing dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspections following standard documentation and procedures. This includes in-process inspections, final inspections, and incoming inspections utilizing precision measuring tools and equipment. The role ensures that all products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:

Perform first piece and in-process inspections accurately

Conduct incoming inspections of raw materials, purchased goods, and parts from outside processes

Visually inspect products and materials to ensure they meet defined specifications

Collect and document inspection results in compliance with company documentation protocols

Adhere to cleanroom protocols, including gowning, checklist completion, and particle testing
Experience & Skills:
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
-
Proficient with precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and microscopes

Competent in updating and maintaining inspection logs, forms, and quality documentation

Basic understanding of calibration processes

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Prior experience in a similar industry is preferred
Qualifications:

High attention to detail with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Strong understanding of quality assurance practices

Proficient in Microsoft Office and word processing tools

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic math skills required

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Willingness to learn inspection procedures and equipment

Must be able to speak and read English
