Position Details

  • Shift: Day shift with early start (around 5:00 AM) to overlap with India team, as needed

  • Schedule: Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite per week (based on business needs)

  • Location: Phoenix, AZ


Role Overview

The HR Project Management Specialist will report directly to the HR Services Director and play a critical role in driving successful execution of HR initiatives. This position partners with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with business objectives particularly in support of Oracle HCM initiatives for Aerospace Technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success measures in collaboration with stakeholders

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies

  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case development and execution

  • Deliver Oracle HCM projects on scope, on budget, and on schedule

  • Manage project execution and closure in alignment with *** project methodology

  • Establish and operate governance and management systems to control assigned projects

  • Identify required resources and structure effective project setups

  • Manage project constraints related to cost, time, scope, and quality

  • Present project status, risks, and milestones to Steering Committees and in MOS reviews

  • Proactively manage escalations and track realization of project benefits

  • Lead cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders) without direct reporting authority


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR project management or a related role

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering HR projects

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and prioritization

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead teams without direct authority

  • Experience driving change and managing complex, cross-functional initiatives


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (Master's preferred)

  • Experience managing HR systems and tools

  • Hands-on expertise with Oracle HCM or equivalent ERP platforms

  • PMP, Green Belt, or similar certification

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Experience leading large-scale, global HR projects

  • Proficiency with Vision, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and PII data securely
