3. Purpose of the Job
To perform logistics and warehouse activity in support of inventory control and
effective inbound and outbound shipments and to support manufacturing resources.
Executes the day to day warehouse operations to provide safe, effective, efficient
and economical services for the receipt, storage and movement of materials and
components to support APM Mesa production activities.
4. Job Context
Logistics Technician will operate within the Operations and Logistics
organizational structure to execute activities related to: 1) import and export
material shipments, 2) Monitor Stock levels and report values and suggestions for
ordering to the Logistics Supervisor, 3) Transport Materials to and from the
warehouse, 4) Gather and package finished goods for shipment to customers.

5. Job Content:
Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility
1. All employees have the responsibility to:

4. Executes all traffic and associated logistics for material flow for the *** APM
site. Reports daily shipment activities. Ensures all work is conducted in a safe
and effective manner and all applicable procedures and policies are followed.
5. Justifies if paperwork is correct and complete and completes in case there are
discrepancies.
6. Executes receiving process in alignment with global and local polilcies and
procedures, using applicable Inventory Accounting systems Mysis, Peachtree
and Access (MPA). Keep accurate inventory of raw materials, WIP, and
Finished goods and work with production manager and customer service to
ensure items are delivered on time.
7. Examine incoming shipment contents and compare with records such as
packing lists, manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy. Deliver or route
materials to departments using hand truck, pallet jack, or forklift. Pick correct
materials for shipment by interpreting pick list. Pack, seal, label, and/or affix
postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or
postage meter.
8. Obtain disposition of materials to return to vendor and update MPA or dispose
of properly.
9. Performs inventory related transactions in MPA systems as required with
accuracy and understanding to receive raw materials, equipment, and noncritical supplies.
10. UPS world ship, High value International shipping proficiency (SED, customs,
duties, etc...), L.T.L. freight shipping, Full Truck Load, and small package, 50%
International / 50% Domestic for outgoing and for incoming be able to unload
trucks with a forklift.

11. Performs accurate MPA transactions for the receipt of returned goods from
customer and follow-up on complaint handling with associated Customer
Service Representative and/or Quality and Production personnel.
12. Prepares packages and paperwork for shipments including import/ in
accordance with regulatory compliance per CFR49 and domestic and IATA for
international dangerous goods compliance; CFR19 for Import and Export
Administration Regulations (EAR) for export compliance.
13. Assists with month end inventory for physical count and any inventory
discrepancies. Communicates shipment discrepancies to appropriate personnel
for overage, shortage, damage, and missing documentation.
14. Executes required documentation, adhering to regulatory compliance with EAR
and US Customs for domestic and international shipments.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.

6. Complexity of the Job
Regulatory compliance is essential to *** APM business continuity. Violations
resulting from inaccurate importing activity can result in disruption of supply chain for
critical raw materials resulting in failure of *** APM production to meet production
plan. Customs and ATF have specific forms, if not accurately completed, delay
delivery of essential materials and/or customer shipments, and can result in
substantial fines and penalties, in addition to regulatory audits.
Communicate effectively to ensure teamwork within the Operations Team both
internally and globally.
Accurate completion of export and import documentation as errors can result in
substantial fines and penalties and risk suspension of trade privileges.
8. Knowledge and Educational Level
High school diploma and previous experience in manufacturing, logistics or
warehousing preferred.
9. Required Level of Experiences
1. Knowledgeable in import and export requirements.
2. Ability to follow-up on activities.
3. Ability to maintain accurate records.
