Nesco Resource is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Apprentice) for our client located in Corning, NY!

Primary Job Duties:
· Assist in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and production equipment
· Ensure production lines and equipment remain operational at all times
· Learn and perform troubleshooting on electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and motor controller systems
· Support senior maintenance technicians with repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance
· Assist with welding, plumbing, wiring, and heating-related maintenance tasks
· Help prioritize maintenance work orders with supervision and production leads
· Participate in 6S and TPM (tooling preventive maintenance) programs
· Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company standards
· Keep work areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready
· Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
· Perform additional duties as assigned by maintenance supervision or other maintenance techs
What We’re Looking For:
· Associate degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance or related technical field OR 1–2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role
· Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn a skilled trade
· Experience or exposure to welding (stick, wire, spot); structural welding certification is a plus
· Ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of mechanical and electrical systems
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
· Ability to lift, sit, stand, or reach as needed throughout the workday
· Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team
· Motivated, reliable, and safety-focused
Pay:
$22.00 per hour
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm
