Industrial Maintenance Apprentice – Dayshift – $22/hr – Paid Training
Nesco Resource is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Apprentice) for our client in Corning, NY.
This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates—or recent technical school grads—who want to build a long-term career in industrial maintenance while working a steady weekday schedule.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll train alongside experienced maintenance technicians while learning to:

Repair and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Assist with installations and preventive maintenance

Support welding, wiring, plumbing, and heating-related tasks

Help prioritize work orders with supervision

Participate in TPM / 6S programs

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Communicate with production and maintenance teams

Follow all safety policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For:

1–2 years of industrial or mechanical experience OR technical school / certification

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Exposure to welding or electrical work is a plus

Comfortable in a manufacturing environment

Reliable, motivated, and safety-focused
-
Able to lift, stand, reach, and move throughout the day
Recent grads and mechanically skilled operators encouraged to apply.
Pay & Schedule:

$22.00/hour

Monday–Friday | 6:30am–3:00pm
