Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime required)

Position Overview
This individual will be responsible for processing factory orders, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring materials are delivered on time to support production demands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within supply chain and procurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process factory orders and develop efficient purchasing strategies to meet production deadlines.
  • Evaluate supplier options, negotiate pricing and terms, and issue purchase orders based on demand and budget.
  • Collaborate with the production team to track material arrivals and ensure alignment with the manufacturing schedule.
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve procurement challenges and improve supply chain performance.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing data, and purchase history within the ERP system.
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships to support on-time delivery of materials and tooling for new programs.
  • Identify potential shortages, delays, or supply risks and implement alternative sourcing or expedited solutions.
  • Escalate significant delays or issues to the Procurement Manager to minimize impact on production timelines.
  • Work with engineering, program management, sales, and other internal departments to align material requirements with project schedules.
  • Support the quoting team when North American vendors are non-responsive.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for optimizing purchasing decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using an ERP system for order entry and material tracking.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • 2 years of supply chain or procurement experience preferred.
