Accountant(Fully Remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Accountant (Contractor) to support month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, confirming intercompany balances, and providing ad hoc financial analysis as needed. The General Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End & Year-End Close

• Support month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.

• Prepare and post journal entries (JEs) in accordance with GAAP.

Reconciliations & Intercompany Accounting

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly.

• Confirm, reconcile, and resolve intercompany balances across multiple entities.

Analysis & Reporting

• Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and proper documentation.

Compliance & Controls

• Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.

• Ensure proper documentation and support for all assigned accounting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

• NetSuite experience is required.

• Intercompany accounting experience is a plus.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt within a dynamic environment.

• Remote work setup with extensive computer use required.
