Job Description
Position Summary:
The Order Selector is responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, selecting and labeling products, palletizing orders, and delivering completed pallets to designated dock locations in a safe and efficient manner. This role works across varying warehouse environments, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer sections.
Responsibilities:

Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift safely and efficiently.

Select correct products from warehouse racking based on customer orders.

Create and apply labels using RF label technology.

Hand-select orders in fluctuating warehouse temperatures (Dry, Cooler, Freezer).

Stack products on pallets following proper procedures (e.g., no heavy-on-light stacking, labels facing outward).

Stage completed pallets at the appropriate dock locations.

Stretch-wrap pallets on the loading dock.

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on all assigned equipment.

Maintain and safely operate equipment, including pallet jacks, RF units, and required personal protective equipment.

Work until all products are accurately selected and loaded, including overtime during holidays and weekends as needed.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to meet or exceed established engineered production standards.

Ability to work rapidly and consistently throughout the entire shift in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to meet or exceed established accuracy goals (cases per error).

Strong working knowledge of product placement and inventory control procedures.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for job and safety requirements.

Basic arithmetic skills.

Adequate physical fitness to perform all job duties.
Shift Schedule:
-
Sunday–Thursday, 5:00 PM to Completion
-
Sunday night is part of the regular schedule.

Overtime as needed.
