Nesco Resource is in search of a skilled CNC Router for a local wood manufacture in Caldwell County, NC
• Interpret blueprints and work orders to determine dimensions, tooling, materials, and cutting sequences.
• Load and secure raw wood materials and panels onto the router table.
• Set up machines, install router bits, calibrate tools, and adjust machine settings for each job.
• Monitor production runs, perform test cuts, and ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of CNC equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, tooling, or programming issues.
• Follow safety guidelines, including PPE requirements and dust collection procedures.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to improve processes and resolve production challenges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders.
• Knowledge of woodworking tools, router bits, and materials.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for most of the shift.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
