Description:
The Test Technician position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipment.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
- Maintain good attendance and follow all company policies.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Willing to learn testing and troubleshooting of products.
- Complete required training and work with limited supervision.
- Meet fast-paced production goals and support overtime needs.
- Assist with efficiency/6S improvements and help other departments as needed.
- Perform maintenance tasks per technical data and FAA-approved guidelines.
- Properly document all completed work.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Mostly sitting (80%), some standing/walking (20%).
- Lift/carry up to 45 lbs.
- Use hand tools and power tools.
- Perform hand/finger work and repetitive movements.
- Occasional pushing/pulling of carts or tables.
- Minimal bending, twisting, climbing, kneeling, or exposure to noise/chemicals.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certifications: N/A
- Years of Experience: 0-2 years prior work experience in an electronics Manufacturing/Testing environment
- Ensure candidates can speak to their resumes
- Candidates must be able to be coached
- Candidates needs to be open to cross training
- Candidates must come to work everyday
- Need to have soldering experience
- Ability to utilize manual and automated test equipment to test digital and analog circuitry.
- Ability to read schematics and understand the circuit function.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in technical terms both verbally and in writing.
- Ability operate environmental test chambers
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Must be computer literate.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a team environment
