Pay Rate: $20–$26 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:30 PM – 8:00 AM (Mandatory Overtime Required)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee nightly welding operations at our Youngstown, OH facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and proven leadership experience to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety procedures are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of welders and fabricators on the night shift
- Monitor workflow to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations
- Perform hands-on welding as needed and assist in training team members
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Maintain production records, report progress, and communicate issues to management
- Enforce company policies, promote teamwork, and foster a positive work environment
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
- Minimum 5 years of welding experience
- Understanding of Flux Core welding
- Strong understanding of welding symbols, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work 3rd shift and perform mandatory overtime as required
