Nesco Resource is working with a global leader in natural extracts and ingredients, seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives at our Lakeland facility. This role will drive a world-class safety culture and ensure adherence to all regulatory and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the site's HSE strategy aligned with global and corporate goals.
- Lead health, safety, and environmental programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards.
- Oversee training, audits, and incident investigations to promote continuous improvement.
- Manage environmental reporting and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Lead emergency response planning and serve as liaison with regulatory agencies.
- Mentor and develop HSE team members while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive sustainability and resource-efficiency initiatives to support company goals.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10 years of progressive HSE experience in manufacturing, including 5 years in leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards; experience with sustainability and ESG initiatives preferred.
- Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
