Position Overview

The Workforce Transformation Program Analyst will support the execution of a large-scale organizational transformation across the Technology division. This position partners closely with senior leadership (Directors, Managing Directors, and VPs) to manage workforce restructuring, onshore/offshore resource movement, and managed service provider realignment. The ideal candidate possesses advanced analytical and program management capabilities, exceptional executive communication skills, and experience in workforce planning within a large corporate environment.


Core Functions

  • Excel Expertise: Utilize mid-level formulas and data queries to manage workforce tracking and analysis.

  • Power BI: Develop dashboards and visual reports to monitor key workforce metrics.

  • PowerPoint: Create executive-level presentations to communicate transformation updates and outcomes.

  • Program Management: Support and track project initiatives using AHA! or similar program/project management tools.

  • Workforce Management: Oversee personnel management within large-scale corporate environments.

    • Experience with SuccessFactors / Employee Central preferred.

    • Experience with other personnel management systems a plus.

  • Executive Communication: Partner daily with Director, Managing Director, and VP-level leaders to guide and coach through reorganizational planning and execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day execution of workforce transformation initiatives within the Technology organization.

  • Coordinate and drive meetings with executive leaders to review workforce design and restructuring strategies.

  • Capture, summarize, and distribute meeting notes and action items.

  • Coach leadership teams on aligning reorganizational decisions to strategic "Ideal Structure” models.

  • Utilize Excel to track, analyze, and report on workforce transition data and progress.

  • Prepare and submit workforce change requests through SuccessFactors, Employee Central, and Microsoft Suite tools.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Finance, HR, and Compensation to ensure accurate workforce alignment.

  • Collaborate with labor support partners across all AA locations, including the new Technical Hub in Hyderabad (HYD).


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, IT Management, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: 5 years in workforce planning, HR program management, or large-scale reorganizational initiatives.

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Lists, Power BI).

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working with executive leadership on transformation or efficiency initiatives.

  • Airline or technology industry experience preferred but not required.


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with workforce management systems (SuccessFactors, Employee Central, Workday, etc.)

  • Previous involvement in corporate reorganizations or consulting projects for large enterprises (5,000 employees).


Team Environment

The role functions within a collaborative team of five:

  • 1 Senior Manager – Head of Workforce Management

  • 3 Principal Program Managers

  • 2 Analysts
