Job Summary:
The Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints, stains, and coatings, and ensuring all finishes meet project specifications and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of various painting techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and repairing imperfections.

Apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

Select, mix, and match colors according to project requirements and customer preferences.

Protect floors, furniture, and adjacent areas with drop cloths or tape to prevent damage.

Inspect completed work to ensure proper coverage, uniformity, and finish quality.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment as required.

Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a painter or in a related trade.

Knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and color theory.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. -
Physical stamina to stand, climb, and lift for extended periods.
