Logistics Coordinator
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support their fast-paced shipping and distribution operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication with carriers and internal teams. This position plays an essential role in ensuring that outbound shipments are processed accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily shipping operations and communicate with carriers to prevent or resolve delays.

Prepare and maintain shipping logs, daily reports, and related documentation.

Generate and print Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping labels, and necessary paperwork.

Monitor weather conditions or embargoes that may affect deliveries and share updates with internal departments.

Schedule and track full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments.

Build and palletize store or customer orders for outbound shipment.

Check in drivers, verify trailers, and ensure equipment availability for scheduled loads.

Provide customer service support by tracking shipments, locating orders, and assisting with escalation requests.

Maintain accurate lot and trailer checklists to confirm carrier availability throughout the day.

Troubleshoot shipping or documentation issues as they arise.

Support weekend or overtime operations when production schedules require.

Contribute to process improvement efforts within the shipping and logistics department.
Qualifications

Strong organizational and communication skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Prior experience in logistics, distribution, or shipping coordination preferred.
Schedule
-
Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed.
