- Communication: Answering and transferring telephone calls, taking messages, and providing general information to staff, clients, or the public.
- Administrative support: Typing, formatting, and editing documents; copying, filing, and updating records (both paper and electronic); and preparing and processing bills.
- Scheduling: Scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff or clients.
- Mail and correspondence: Sorting and delivering incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail.
- Data management: Performing data entry, collecting information, and maintaining databases and spreadsheets.
- Office maintenance: Managing office supplies and inventory.
- Other duties: Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed and greeting visitors.
