Nesco Resource is currently seeking a Machine Operator for our long-time food manufacturing client in Ferndale, MI.
Shift:2nd Shift - 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday - Friday with overtime as production demands.
Pay:$14.25 per hour for training. Once training has been completed $16.25 per hour.

Duties may include:
- Prepare paperwork and supplies for efficiency at the start of shift
- Perform necessary set-up and pre-check tasks on machine
- Operate assigned machine according to specific work instructions and production schedules
- Monitor machine for correct settings and operation
- Perform routine troubleshooting and maintenance as needed
- Maintain clean and safe workspace adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices and quality standards consistently
- Complete necessary paperwork at end of shift
Requirements:
- Machine operation experience
- Food manufacturing/processing experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift 50lbs intermittently throughout shift
- Ability to work in a wet/cold (30-40 degrees) environment
