Position Title: Judgment Processing Specialist
  Schedule: Monday–Friday, onsite 5 days per week

Position Summary
The Judgment Processing Specialist is responsible for executing the day-to-day functions of the Judgment Processing Department. This role requires strong legal document handling, analytical, and decision-making skills to ensure compliance with Federal and State legal orders. The position ensures the accurate identification, securing, and release of client funds, prepares official court responses, and serves as a control point for risk management. The incumbent may also provide departmental oversight in the manager's absence.
Key Responsibilities
-   Perform detailed account searches for Specialty Order cases to identify account ownership, balances, and relationships in compliance with legal documents. 
-   Apply appropriate Federal and State statutes to determine and secure funds through account holds, freezes, and transfers as directed by court orders. 
-   Prepare and file official "Answers to Complaints on behalf of Key's Litigation Counsel and ensure proper distribution to courts, attorneys, and clients. 
-   Log and track all incoming legal documents in JPex; assign ownership and ensure accountability across relevant lines of business. 
-   Research and respond to client and attorney inquiries regarding fund releases and case resolutions. 
-   Serve as risk control point by reviewing large-dollar legal orders and performing quality reviews on sensitive client data. 
-   Process and mail official bank checks to comply with garnishments, levies, and other legal mandates per Federal and State regulations. 
-   Review and interpret complex settlement and court documents; contact attorneys for clarification or additional documentation as needed. 
-   Maintain organized filing and records retention systems; assist with offsite record management. 
-   Perform end-of-day APA balancing and discrepancy resolution to ensure accurate posting. 
-   Participate in team huddles and departmental meetings, providing recommendations for process or compliance improvements. 
-   Provide departmental coverage and leadership in the manager's absence, including distributing assignments and managing escalations. 
-   Accurately track work volume and time spent to support internal reporting and metrics. 
Required Qualifications
-   2 years of experience in financial services, banking operations, or legal processing. 
-   Extensive experience interpreting and processing legal documents (garnishments, levies, restraining notices, orders to withhold, etc.). 
-   Proficiency with systems such as Hogan, ViewDirect, CIS, and other bank data applications. 
-   Strong understanding of general ledger principles, debit/credit entries, and balancing processes. 
-   High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a high-risk environment. 
-   Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines. 
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong reading comprehension and listening skills. 
-   Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes. 
-   Ability to perform high-volume 10-key data entry by touch. 
-   Proven adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines, and procedures. 
-   Demonstrated professionalism in interactions with clients, attorneys, and internal partners.
