Our team develops new or modifies processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of Ring Laser Gyroscopes.
As a Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing processes for our products. You will determine the equipment and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification for both existing and new processes. You will support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects for our existing products in a dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide test and manufacturing support for components of the ring laser gyro product line
• Analyze current process controls for optical components and develop additional methods to measure and control manufacturing processes.
• Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
• Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
• Assist development of new products.
• Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
• Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Optics, Physics, or Mathematics
• 5 years experience
