Nesco Resource is seeking a Project Manager with demonstrated construction management experience to join our client's team at their New Haven, CT location. The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in construction management, scheduling and project oversight.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess 5 - 7 years of experience in project controls, scheduling and construction management.
- Experience in laboratory and research settings is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Exemplary communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or architecture with robust experience in construction management/administration.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in building design, construction, architecture or engineering; previous experience in the Higher Education sector desired.
- Familiarity with permitting and zoning regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques, project management frameworks, financial management, building codes, contract law and pertinent legislation.
- Proven expertise in client relations, design, construction and FF&E processes.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, schedules and project deliverables.
- Passionate about promoting and executing projects successfully.
- LEED Accredited, Professional Engineering (PE) license in the state of CT, Project Management Professional registration or certificate are highly regarded.
- 1 year contract with possible extension
- 1st shift, Monday – Friday, core hours 8am – 4pm but offers flexible start time
- Hourly pay range dependent on education & experience
