Production Technician – Medical Devices (Houston, TX – Onsite)

Location: Pearland, TX
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (4x10-hour shifts) | Overtime as needed on Fridays
Contract Length: 12 months with potential extension or conversion to permanent
Work Setting: 100% onsite in a cleanroom environment


About the Role

Join a team that helps produce life-saving medical devices used by doctors around the world. As a Production Technician, you’ll assemble and package advanced cardiovascular devices in a cleanroom setting. This role is hands-on, detail-focused, and part of a mission that truly makes a difference.

You’ll work at our Pearland, TX facility, which manufactures two critical devices:

  • OAD (Orbital Atherectomy Device): Removes calcium buildup in arteries using diamond-coated crowns.

  • Neptune Pump: Powers the OAD system used during surgical procedures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and package medical device components with precision and care

  • Use tools such as microscopes, handheld scanners, and soldering equipment

  • Handle and move materials using a manual pallet jack or lift

  • Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe, clean environment


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with microscope assembly or soldering small components (wires, crowns, etc.)

  • Prior experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom manufacturing preferred

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanners and production tracking systems

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures

  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods


Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • One onsite interview with the Hiring Manager, Lead Technician, and Senior Manager
