Shifts: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-3:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM -3:00 AM
Direct Hire | $24–$27/hr 15% Shift Differential
Position Overview:
As a Welder, you will be responsible for setting up and operating welding equipment to fabricate metal components in a job shop environment. This role requires proficiency in Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret routers, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Set up and operate welding machines for Flux Core (FCAW) welding
- Fabricate and weld metal components using 1/16 " wire or larger
- Perform layout and fitting operations as required
- Use hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, and cutters
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed
- Work safely from ladders or elevated surfaces when necessary
- 3 years of experience in FCAW welding
- Experience with 1/16 " welding wire or larger
- Strong blueprint reading and mechanical interpretation skills
- Comfortable with basic math for measuring and tolerances
- Must provide own tools and toolbox
- Prior forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass pre-employment screenings
