Job Title: Machine Operator – Nutraceutical Manufacturing

Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 5:00am – 3:30pm Mon-Thurs with regular over time on Fridays
Location:Garland, TX

Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our nutraceutical manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used in the manufacturing of dietary supplements. The ideal candidate will ensure machines run efficiently, products meet quality standards, and all work complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing machines (e.g., encapsulation, tablet press, blending, bottling, or packaging equipment).

  • Perform start-up, in-process, and shutdown procedures according to SOPs.

  • Inspect and verify product quality during production runs, ensuring accuracy in weight, count, and labeling.

  • Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation.

  • Conduct routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of equipment.

  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate problems when needed.

  • Follow GMP, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food industry preferred.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot production machinery.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality standards.

  • Ability to follow written instructions, batch records, and SOPs.

  • Physical ability to lift up to [X lbs], stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GMP-compliant environments.

  • Familiarity with tablet press, encapsulation, or packaging machinery.

  • Forklift certification (a plus).
