Shipping/Receiving Associate

Position Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing materials, printed products, and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and verify all incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage-free delivery.
  • Coordinate with production and customer service teams to ensure timely fulfillment of print orders.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely as needed.
  • Maintain accurate shipping/receiving documentation and update internal tracking systems.
  • Communicate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL freight) to schedule pickups and resolve delivery issues.
  • Assist with other warehouse or production duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills (experience with shipping software a plus).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with printing, packaging, or fulfillment operations.
  • Experience using label printers, scales, and digital shipping platforms (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, etc.).
  • Forklift certification preferred but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Full-time position
  • Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience, plus benefits
