We are seeking a Quality Associate to join our team and help ensure that our products consistently meet customer and company specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform final, first-piece, and in-process inspections on a variety of parts and assemblies.
- Conduct inspections using a range of measuring instruments and equipment, following established inspection procedures and allowable variations.
- Document all inspection data accurately on designated forms per the Quality Control Manual.
- Make clear, concise decisions regarding product or operation acceptance and rejection.
- Initiate and complete Certification, QA, and NRC reports as required.
- During in-process inspections, collaborate effectively with Press Room personnel to ensure smooth production flow.
- Provide feedback, suggestions, and ideas that contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain the inspection area and equipment in a clean, organized, and efficient manner.
- Understand and prioritize high-demand inspection tasks to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Adhere to all procedures, including the Safety Manual and Employee Handbook.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.
- Assist and train press operators in performing their own in-process inspections.
- Conduct random floor audits to ensure compliance and quality standards are maintained.
- Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges
