Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Inventory Specialist to join a manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing material flow, and ensuring efficient stock control through the use of modern inventory management systems. This role requires both strong computer skills and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and maintain accurate inventory counts in the company's inventory management system.
- Receive, label, and organize incoming materials and products.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Reconcile discrepancies between system data and physical counts.
- Prepare and process inventory reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with production, shipping, and purchasing departments to ensure accurate inventory flow.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse or storage area.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and support system updates or integrations.
- Minimum 1 year of inventory or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
