POSITION OVERVIEW: Crating/ Bunking for curtainwall and other building enclosure systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read tape measure and calculate measurements
- Must be able to maneuver crating lumber with little to no assistance
- Cut wood with various power saws
- Assemble wood boxes/crates/pallets using screws, nail guns, and various hand tools
- Securely packaging contents into crates and boxes
Job Requirements/Duties:
- Must be familiar and proficient with saws, panel saws, nail guns, and packaging
- Must have the physical endurance to lift over 50lbs
- The ability to perform basic computations using fractions is necessary
- Comprehending and executing cut sheet instructions and blueprints
- Organization and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Able to work in a team environment with a diverse workforce
- Must be able to follow all safety rules
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.)

They must frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material. The employee will have frequent repetitive motions. The employee must constantly lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. The employee has constant requirement of specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus. They must constantly wear eye protection while on shop floor and ear protection in designated areas. Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the company and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment isrequired.
