Nesco Resource, 14 time winner of the Best in Staffing Award, is looking for an Administrative Assistant for US Cotton, a reputable West side manufacturing facility. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay is $24/hour. Bilingual is a benefitt but not mandatory.
ABOUT U.S. COTTON
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY
The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Plant Manager and will support the daily operations of our plant.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Meeting coordination
- Answer phone calls
- Open and distribute mail
- Data entry
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports
- Provide administrative support to Operations Team
- Coordinate with facilities management
- Process invoices
- Site coordination for visitors
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Order office supplies and maintain stock
- Maintain phone lists
- Prepare, distribute and send mail and overnight packages
- Setup and receive PO's for office, production and maintenance
- Other administrative tasks and duties as needed
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED Required.
Some college preferred.
EXPERIENCE
One year minimum administrative experience in business or manufacturing environment.
SKILL
Typing, data entry, strong communication skills, both orally and written. Ability to relate to all levels of the internal organization as well as outside contacts.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Strong Microsoft Suite experience required.
Advanced MS Excel skills preferred.
General business and personnel functions.
