About the Opportunity
Join a well-established, nationally recognized logistics and manufacturing organization with more than three decades of industry leadership. This is a hands-on, people-focused position supporting both the Leave Administration and Health & Safety teams. You'll play a key role helping associates navigate leaves of absence, return-to-work coordination, and day-to-day wellness support within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

Serve as the primary point of contact for associates on leave, ensuring a positive and professional experience from start to finish.

Verify leave eligibility, collect required documentation, and accurately update associate status in HR systems.

Communicate proactively with associates and leadership regarding leave timelines, extensions, and return-to-work updates.

Provide first aid and emergency care to employees as needed.

Maintain strict compliance with FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, Military, and Workers' Compensation regulations.

Track, analyze, and report on leave metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely processing of leave requests.

Conduct periodic audits of leave administration processes and data accuracy.

Support company health initiatives, such as on-site vaccination programs, hearing tests, and other wellness activities.

Maintain organized medical and HR records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

Promote a respectful, trustworthy, and collaborative work culture aligned with the company's core values.
What You'll Bring

1–2 years of experience in FMLA administration, workforce absence management, or a related HR function (preferred)

1–2 years of experience in a medical or clinical support setting (preferred)

High school diploma or GED required

Strong understanding of employment and leave-related laws (FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, etc.)

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and provide compassionate guidance

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management

Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus
