Position Summary:
The General Labor position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the production and packaging areas to support daily operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring that products are prepared, packed, and shipped according to company quality and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work on a production or packaging line handling fresh produce.

Inspect, sort, and pack vegetables according to size, quality, and weight specifications.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all food safety and quality assurance procedures.

Operate or assist with basic machinery or equipment as trained.

Assist with loading, unloading, and stacking boxes or pallets.

Report any product or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.

Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and work instructions.
Qualifications:
-
No prior experience required – on-the-job training provided.

Ability to stand for long periods and work in a refrigerated environment.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.

Dependable and able to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
- Ability to work in a COLD storage enviroment
Work Environment:

Fast-paced production facility.

Cold and wet conditions typical of food processing plants.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required.
