Overview
- Schedule production processes to meet customer shipping requirements
- Utilize machines to ensure successful day to day operations
- Communicate with other departments to keep up with adjustments and potential issues
Job Functions
- Comply with 6S and all other company policies
- Be aware of all company and customer quality concerns
- Coordinate and monitor raw materials on production floor
- Create and maintain shop orders
- Pull daily inventory reports
- Train and cover planning administrator if needed
- Assist with inventory
- Work with purchasing department for material orders
- Update daily and weekly reports
- Pick carpet rolls for customer shipments
- Monitor the purchase and usage of raw materials
Qualifications:
- HSD or GED
- Experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Proficient in basic math
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to solve problems
