What your role entails:
The Manager, Revenue Cycle Management oversees all aspects of the revenue cycle billing function, including supervision and training of billing staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims for health-related social needs (HRSN) services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Finance Liaisons and Billing Specialists in all billing and reimbursement activities, including Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and other related entities.
- Oversee claim submissions for completeness and accuracy, ensuring timely follow-up on denials and payment discrepancies.
- Manage remittance posting, account reconciliations, and collections to maximize cash flow and minimize outstanding receivables.
- Review cash receipts and explanations of benefits (EOBs) to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize revenue cycle processes and enhance partner experience.
- Conduct regular team check-ins to monitor performance, address issues, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold the organization’s mission and values.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in billing and revenue cycle management
- Medicaid and MCO RCM billing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all levels of management.
- Strong technical and analytical skills to compile data for planning and reporting purposes.
- Ability to manage multiple detailed projects simultaneously and adjust as needed.
