Client Relations Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and develop new business opportunities within the dietary supplement and health & wellness markets, offering services such as product formulation, custom manufacturing, and packaging.
- Create and execute strategic plans to grow new accounts through outreach efforts, networking, and participation in industry events and trade shows.
- Build and maintain long-term client partnerships, ensuring high satisfaction levels and identifying opportunities for repeat or expanded business.
- Partner with clients to understand their specific product requirements including formulation, dosage type, delivery method, and certifications (non-GMO, organic, etc.) and provide tailored recommendations throughout the production process.
- Work closely with internal departments such as R&D, production, and regulatory to confirm that projects are achievable, compliant, cost-efficient, and meet quality standards.
- Stay informed on market trends, ingredient innovations, competitor activity, and regulatory updates to support product planning and strategic decision-making.
- Consistently achieve or surpass established sales and revenue goals.
- Represent the organization professionally at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer meetings.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pricing quotes to prospective clients.
- Accurately track all leads, customer interactions, and forecasts using CRM tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Nutrition, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in territory sales or business development within dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, contract manufacturing, or another regulated sector.
- Solid knowledge of supplement and dietary product development processes, including manufacturing formats (capsules, tablets, powders), quality standards (cGMP, non-GMO, organic), and compliance practices.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and consultative sales skills with a focus on building trust and delivering value-driven solutions.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate project scope, cost, timing, and potential risks.
- Skilled in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools for developing proposals, managing pipelines, and preparing reports and forecasts.
