Burn Table Operator

Location: Youngstown, OH
Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: 1^st, 2^nd,3^rd
Starting Pay: $15.00/hour (OT available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and operate programmable burn tables to cut steel plates, structural materials, and extrusions.
• Operate cutting equipment including multi-torch systems, hand torches, and oxygen-acetylene flame cutters.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, cutting lists, and verbal instructions.
• Determine cutting paths and procedures based on job specs.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of burn equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE at all times.
• Regularly lift and move materials up to 70 lbs.

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with industrial equipment
• Reliable and dependable work habits
• Able to read a tape measure accurately
• Strong math skills
• Willing to learn and follow company-specific procedures
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions

• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
• Ability to respond quickly to sound cues and visual warnings
• Ability to correctly wear and use all personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and machinery
