A Reputable Organization is seeking an A/P Specialist to join their team!
What you need to know…
- This is a Contract Position (1-3 months)
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8am – 4pm
- Location: Albany, NY
- Pay: $22 - $30/hr.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices and check requests for accuracy and proper authorization.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain vendor records.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
- Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, and General Ledger entries
- Maintain company files and records are updated
This role might be for you if you:
- Have experience with Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk
- Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word) and SAGE
- Good organization and multi-tasking abilities
