Nesco Resource is in need of a Contract Benefits Administrator for a minimum 3-Month contract assignment with a potential for up to 6 months.
This is a full time, 5 day a week on site role located in Mayfield Heights OH 44124.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to join our team on a contract basis to support our HR department during the busy open enrollment period. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional who can quickly step in and manage day-to-day benefits administration tasks with minimal onboarding. Experience with BenefitWerks or similar HRIS is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage the open enrollment process from start to finish
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries, elections, and issue resolution
- Administer benefit plans, including health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life, disability, and 401(k)
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry and updates in BenefitWerks
- Collaborate with benefits vendors and internal stakeholders
- Review and audit benefits data to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Generate and distribute communication materials to employees regarding benefit options and changes
- Track enrollment metrics and report on participation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, COBRA, ACA)
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration
- Direct experience with BenefitWerks is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of open enrollment processes and best practices
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and other standard office software
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Attributes
- 1-3 years of HR experience is preferred
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred (not required)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
