IT Business Partner  
Role Overview  
The IT Business Partner is responsible for aligning business needs with IT solutions across Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, and Quality functions. This role partners with business teams, support functions, and vendors to deliver technology solutions from planning and implementation to Go-Live and ongoing support. The IT Business Partner manages systems implementation, validation, and administration activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. 
Responsibilities  
1. Application & Systems Management  
- Build technical understanding of MES, Serialization, and Quality Systems applications to propose system improvements and process transformations.
- Provide SAP support for Production, Warehouse, and Quality functions.
- Manage audit trails, CSV (Computer System Validation) activities, and software application administration.
- Oversee network administration, user access management, vendor coordination, and role/profile maintenance.
- Define enterprise application architecture to enable best-in-class engagement with internal teams and external partners.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and develop innovative solutions to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, QC, QA, Engineering, Finance, and HR.
- Partner closely with IT Business Partners, Infrastructure, and other IT verticals to align strategies and solutions.
- Identify opportunities to scale IT applications across regions with similar processes.
- Build business cases for tactical implementations that align with long-term IT roadmaps.
- Track project timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Define KPIs and success criteria that align with business outcomes.
- Manage support models and ensure delivery of SLAs for incident, change, and request management.
- Drive data standardization and ensure IT solutions meet evolving compliance standards.
- Apply up-to-date validation and documentation practices across all system implementations.

Dimensions of the Role
- IT systems support for Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, Quality, R&D, and RA functions
- System validation and infrastructure maintenance (including PLC and Instrument Software Validation)
- Execution and coordination of IT projects and solutioning initiatives
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Key Decisions & Recommendations
- Determining customization versus standardization of solutions
- Scaling global solutions versus implementing local ones
- Setting and managing SLAs and commercial terms with vendors
- Recommending process improvements aligned with business needs
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience across technology platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with MES, SCADA, LIMS, or related systems
- Background in IT solutions for Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, and Quality environments (preferably pharmaceutical)
- Experience in CSV activities and system validations
- Strong IT Manufacturing, Packaging, and Quality Systems Administration skills
- Proficiency in SAP modules for Production, Warehouse, Packaging, and Quality
- Experience with MES solutions, manufacturing software, SQL/Oracle databases, and application administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, including macros)
- Experience supporting infrastructure and application integrations for Manufacturing, QC/QA, R&D, and RA systems
