Litigation Defense Paralegal – General Liability | Nassau County, NY - Hybrid
A leading defense firm in New York City has an immediate opening for an experienced Personal Injury and General Litigation Defense Paralegal. We are seeking a professional who can manage complex cases from inception through trial and closing, providing essential support to a dynamic team of attorneys.
Responsibilities

Manage litigation files and deadlines from start to finish

Conduct document review and summarize medical and financial records

Prepare discovery responses, pleadings, and trial materials

Coordinate with attorneys, clients, experts, and court personnel

Maintain docketing and case status reports

Handle daily time entry and billing requirements

Perform legal research (LexisNexis experience a plus)
Qualifications
-
3 years of general liability experience, preferably in personal injury

Bachelor's degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal billing software

Experience reviewing medical records and preparing for trial

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines

Hybrid schedule: 4 days per week in our Manhattan office.
Compensation

Salary range: $80,000–$90,000 (based on experience)
