Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salvagnini Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring Salvagnini sheet metal processing equipment (such as the P4 panel bender, S4 punching/shearing center, or L5 laser system) to produce high-quality precision parts according to production specifications and schedules.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Salvagnini Machine Operator to operate and program automated Salvagnini sheet metal equipment, including panel benders, punching/shearing centers, and laser systems. This role involves both hands-on machine operation and basic CNC programming to ensure precision, efficiency, and high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environments
Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor Salvagnini machines (P4, S4, or L5) according to production schedules and specifications.

Create, edit, and adjust machine programs using Salvagnini software to optimize production runs.

Import and modify part programs using CAD/CAM files and nesting software.

Perform machine setups, tooling adjustments, and calibration to maintain consistent product quality.

Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.

Troubleshoot and correct programming or mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and fabrication instructions.

Record production data, maintain documentation, and communicate updates to the team and supervisors.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following all safety and quality standards.
Requirements -
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in CNC operation or programming preferred.

1 year of experience operating Salvagnini or similar CNC fabrication equipment.

Working knowledge of Salvagnini software (or similar CNC programming platforms).

Ability to read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and follow detailed work instructions.

Strong mechanical and computer aptitude.

Basic understanding of CAD/CAM systems and file conversions.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
