Human Resource Generalist Knightdale, NC
1st Shift: 8-5pm M-F

The Human Resources Generalist will primarily be responsible for assisting the HR Manager with all human resources functions across PCX, including recruitment, employment policies and practices, FMLA/STD processes, performance management, employee relations, training and development, compensation planning, and benefits management. This position will work closely with management of all levels to fill open positions, communicate, and interpret Company policies, and maintain a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
Manage open positions working closely with management to coordinate interview schedule with candidate and hiring manager.
Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through professional and timely communications and onboarding.
Lead the coordination of new hire orientation, and the onboarding process, including pre-hire requirements and the completion of new hire process.
Assist with the development and management of company training program.
Engage and assist with employees enrolling in benefit options, including enrollment of newly eligible employees and annual open enrollment.
Assist with the development and administration of Company policies.
Lead investigations into employee complaints to determine a resolve or employment termination.
Coordinate performance review process to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.
Maintain employee files and department records.
Track employee anniversaries in conjunction with employee recognition program.
Participate in the design and implementation of programs that build employee engagement and retention.
Assist the HR Manager with employee relations practices, including investigations and documentation.
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes as they relate to human resources and employment law.
Help coordinate office culture and engagement activities.
Other ad-hoc assignments and cross functional HR projects as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or other related field required
3 plus years' experience working in Human Resources
Working knowledge of employment laws and best practices
Experience working with an HRIS and talent management system.
Effective interpersonal, communication and organization skills
Experience working in Microsoft Office
Strong aptitude with data and reporting on HR related metrics to support the business.
Ability to perform with integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
