Position Summary:
The General Labor Contractor will assist with a variety of tasks in our production facility, including material handling, shop organization, equipment cleaning, and general support for the manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to safety, teamwork, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Move and handle raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility
•
Assist production staff with basic tasks such as mixing preparation, packaging, and labeling
•
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including sweeping, disposing of waste, and cleaning equipment as needed
•
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
•
Support inventory management activities, including counting and restocking materials
•
Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisor
Physical Requirements:
•
Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 55 lbs safely and repeatedly
•
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods of time
•
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and odors
Qualifications:
•
Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor preferred.
•
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
•
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
