About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Materials & Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse activity, ensure material accuracy, and coordinate closely with internal teams to keep production running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, teamwork, and process improvement — someone who enjoys leading from the floor and making sure materials and people stay in sync.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Warehouse Operations: Supervise receiving, storage, and distribution to support on-time production.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock levels, oversee cycle counts, and ensure proper documentation.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Purchasing, Engineering, Accounting, and Project Management to align material flow with production needs.
Safety & Compliance: Uphold OSHA standards and drive a proactive safety culture within the warehouse.
Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and schedule warehouse staff; foster accountability and teamwork.
Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, recommend layout or process changes, and implement efficiency enhancements.
Supplier Collaboration: Support purchasing efforts by coordinating material deliveries and resolving discrepancies in receiving and invoicing.
Qualifications

3 years of experience in warehousing, materials management, or inventory control within a manufacturing setting

2 years of supervisory experience overseeing warehouse or materials teams

Strong organizational and communication skills

Working knowledge of ERP or inventory systems

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Proven ability to balance day-to-day operations with process improvement initiatives
Work Environment
Fast-paced manufacturing environment with typical conditions of a fabrication or assembly facility. Safety gear (hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes) is required.
