About the Role
We’re searching for a hands-on Industrial Electrical Engineer to design, maintain, and improve the electrical systems that power a dynamic manufacturing operation. This position blends technical design with real-world troubleshooting and project work—ideal for someone who enjoys variety and direct collaboration with production teams.
The role will focus on ensuring electrical reliability, supporting automation initiatives, and contributing to the continuous improvement of plant operations.
Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design & Support: Develop and maintain electrical systems, power distribution, and control circuits across production areas.

Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues to minimize downtime and improve performance.

Process & Automation Improvements: Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to enhance automation, reliability, and energy efficiency.

Project Involvement: Participate in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and electrical infrastructure upgrades.

Documentation & Compliance: Create and maintain schematics, layouts, and reports while ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance, operations, and project engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Technical Support: Provide electrical guidance and training to maintenance and production staff as needed.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience: 3 years of electrical engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
Software: Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software
Knowledge: Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA standards
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Other: Must be able to travel between local facilities as required
Additional Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Travel: Occasional travel between local facilities
Work Environment: Combination of office and production floor settings; requires use of PPE including safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, and hearing protection
