Job Title: Blow Mold Machine Operator
Location: Rochester
Summary:
We are currently seeking a Blow Mold Machine Operator to join our client's production team. In this role, you will operate blow-mold machines, grinders, trimmers, and conveyor systems while ensuring production lines run safely and efficiently. The position requires troubleshooting process problems, performing minor repairs, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This is a hands-on role for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- 2nd Shift
- Monday – Friday; 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay:
- $22.00 an Hour
Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate blow-mold machines (wheels, reciprocating, or shuttle machines) to produce quality bottles.

Perform routine audits, weights, and quality checks.

Troubleshoot and repair minor issues on blow-mold equipment and support systems.

Adjust equipment to meet product specifications.

Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines as needed.

Assist with preventive maintenance, mold changes, neck changes, and blow pin replacements.

Grind excess bottle material and regrind scrap.

Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to maintain efficiency.

Prepare and document daily production reports including rejects, regrinds, and line efficiencies.

Train new blow-mold employees on processes and equipment.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Prior experience operating blow-mold equipment highly preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety protocols.

Familiarity with GMPs and manufacturing quality standards.

Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as needed.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Exposure to manufacturing environment with machinery and moderate noise.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Requires use of hand tools and mechanical equipment.

Ability to lift/move materials throughout the shift.
