As a Maintenance ME Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving production assets. You'll partner with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to drive improvements, reduce downtime, and deliver repairs and modifications that keep equipment operating at its best.
What You'll Do

Develop and improve maintenance procedures, methods, and testing standards

Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and ensure repairs are completed right the first time

Specify replacement parts and confirm equipment is restored to full functionality

Support planners in creating effective work packages and verify work is completed correctly

Lead responses to emergencies, unplanned issues, and equipment failures

Train craftsmen on specific equipment and provide general skill-based training

Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce maintenance costs

Program and support PLC and DCS systems for equipment optimization

Contribute to health and safety improvements across the plant

Develop installation and commissioning packages for new equipment
What Success Looks Like

Faster mean time to repair (MTTR) and extended mean time between failures (MTBF)

Preventive and predictive maintenance (PM & PdM) programs executed on time

Smooth collaboration across maintenance, operations, engineering, and purchasing

Strong technical support that minimizes downtime and maximizes reliability
Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical training/experience

Solid understanding of equipment operations and repair practices

Experience using CMMS systems and analyzing maintenance data

Training in industrial automation and PLC/DCS programming
-
Certifications in predictive technologies, repair practices, or spare parts management are a plus
