Position: Sales Engineer
Compensation: $50-$75K Lucrative Profit share benefits

Overview
The Sales Engineer works at the intersection of engineering and customer support, turning client requirements into detailed system designs and cost proposals. This role blends technical design skills with customer interaction and internal collaboration to ensure projects are accurately scoped, priced, and delivered.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with account managers, estimators, project managers, and customers to gather specifications and develop concept drawings using AutoCAD.

Create proposal layouts and written proposals that clearly define project scope and system capabilities.

Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, purchased equipment, production activities, and labor.

Review customer-supplied drawings and specifications; incorporate them into proposals and ensure compliance with company standards.

Troubleshoot design issues and work with estimating, applications engineering, and manufacturing to resolve problems.

Make “as-built” updates to drawings and maintain engineering documentation.

Communicate with vendors for quotes on equipment, parts, and services.

Coordinate with manufacturing and purchasing to confirm capacity, assembly methods, and parts lead times.

Provide on-site support including site measurements, bid walks, and project meetings as needed.

Assist in training new team members and stay current on engineering and manufacturing practices.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.

5–7 years of engineering, design, or related experience.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and understanding of material-handling systems is a plus.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
