Summary

The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for selected elements of the Quality Management System (QMS).


Essential Functions

· Support and backup Quality Techs (e.g. vacation coverage)

o Equipment verification/calibration

o Testing/analytics

o CoA creation/delivery

· Maintain Quality's ERP system module and engage users

o Gauges/devices

o Inspection setup

· Review ERP system reports pertaining to statistical process control

o Communicate results

o Drive improvement

· Assist operators with accept/reject decision making by creating and revising:

o Specification management

o SOPs

· Coach associates and provide input aligning with the skills matrix

· Audit manufacturing and distribution processes; publish reports

· Lead the NC-hold/RMA process

o Issue and track RMAs

o Monitor physical hold areas

o Publish status updates, audit NC-hold database, and communicate findings

· Share and investigate customer complaints/claims; prepare responses; maintain databases

· Filter document requests and work with Quality Manager to establish boilerplate responses

· Accept/reject material based upon CoA results; define standards

· Assist the Quality Manager to:

o Improve the QMS

o Monitor performance against goals/GMP compliance

o Develop and execute improvement plans

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move parts and supplies, up to 50 lbs.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position occasionally requires long hours and weekend work.


Travel

Travel will be occasionally required, primarily during the business days.


Required Education and Experience
