Panel Shop Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Panel Shop Supervisor to lead our electrical control panel team. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise with team coordination to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and lead panel shop employees, scheduling work and coordinating resources.

  • Build, install, and wire complete electrical control panels from start to finish.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics.

  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and machine wiring.

  • Perform power-on testing and system checkouts (480VAC, 3-phase).

  • Work with engineering staff to resolve design or build issues.

  • Oversee on-site and off-site wiring of machinery, cranes, and control systems.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Travel occasionally (up to 20%, typically less).

What We're Looking For

  • 5 years of hands-on experience wiring electrical control panels.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring practices, and shop tools.

  • Experience supervising or leading a team in a panel shop or similar environment.

  • Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

  • Familiarity with PLC and drive programming (a plus).

  • Ability to lift and mount components (some over 100 lbs) and work safely on ladders/manlifts.

  • Must provide personal hand tools (screwdrivers, strippers, wrenches, sockets, etc.).

  • Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
