CNC Programmer

Location: Perrysburg, OH
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday
Compensation: 47K-58K/YR based on experience benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating, verifying, and optimizing CNC programs to machine precision metal parts. You’ll work with blueprints, AutoCAD files, and G-code to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and top-quality results. This is a hands-on role that combines programming expertise with shop-floor collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze blueprints and engineering drawings to determine machining requirements

• Develop and verify G-code programs for CNC and NC machines

• Program and nest punch press sheet steel from .dxf files, AutoCAD drawings, or sketches

• Observe first-part runs and make adjustments to ensure accuracy

• Operate CNC machines and punch presses when needed

• Maintain tooling inventory and coordinate machine maintenance schedules

• Track and requisition sheet steel materials for upcoming jobs

• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and HR to support production needs

• Attend weekly production meetings and communicate project priorities

• Follow all company and industry safety policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with 2D CAD-CAM

• Experience with CNC programming and operations

• Knowledge of G-code programming and verification

• Training or experience with Amada Vipros punch press (preferred)

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
